Time to Break Out the Fuzzy Socks

I'm sitting here at my computer typing this with three layers on, thick fuzzy socks, and a cat on my lap, all to keep warm.

I love days like today. Overcast, chilly, pretty leaves everywhere....the only thing that could make it better would be snow, but it's still a bit early for that. Maybe some rain. That would be nice. Rainy weather is also a favorite.

In other news, no headache today, which made me very happy. I think it's because I refused to let myself get stressed out. Whenever something bad happened, I reminded myself of how close the weekend was. That may not have been the best thing to do since it resulted in me not giving a damn about the bad/stressful/stupid thing I was doing and I ultimately didn't get anything done today. And I suppose some people thought I was crazy when I kept chanting "One more day, one more day" under my breath. I don't care. It worked.

As a second topic for today, the teacher's at my school are supposedly on the brink of striking. I'm not holding my breath. They've gone 90-some days without a contract, and 20-some without further negotiations, but I think each side is trying to scare the other side into either accepting lower wages or a strike, depending on which side you're on. Like I said, I'm not holding my breath. Of course, all the football players are freaking out because if they strike, they forfeit the game for that week. Not like it matters anyway. Our record is like 2-6. Not exactly going to any championships anytime soon.

That's all I have for now, though since I posted this rather early, at least compared to times I usually post, I might end up with another one later. Comments and subscriptions are lovely :]

Fall is the greatest. So is winter. I love cuddling up with blankets and/or a warm body to keep out of the cold. It's so nice.
